The first weekend of April we got to dance. We picked up Robert and drove to MD. Linda actually got to join us and a much thinner justetthon prepared some of the meals again. Scott didn't make this one, but David and gqsbrosen flew in from Florida. Linda and Ett called a bit on Saturday and I called a C-Gull dance on Sunday. We went. There were about 4 square at the A2/C2 dance, and maybe 10 for MS/+. Many new dancers came from Philly. A very good turnout. Nick and Betsy called. Emad made a fabulous dinner for everyone. Packed, picked up Robert and drove to New Hampshire for the annual C3 for C4 dancers challenge square dance at Lake Shore Farms.  We stopped at 99 for a nice lunch before the dance begun ( Read more... )

Had to get up at 4AM on Saturday morning for an early flight into Florida.  I got patted down cause I was too bulky.  My bag had to be chemically checked, and then they had to defrost the wings on the plane.  But...we made it, and in time for the dance.

Zig Zag is a game as well as an advanced square dance call. We were up in the Berkshires this weekend for an invitational challenge dance called by the husband of dceder and Clark Baker. I believe they kept us challenged, though I wonder if the floor is getting better, or the calling is getting easier.

Besides studying and paying bills, the last few weeks were spent finishing up choreography for my California dance. We did get a C4 workshop in, but the C2 group had to cancel, which was for the best since I ended up packing.
